THE PLAN


The plan was set in stone at the beginning of summer, then it got reworked a couple times.  I can say now (with total uncertainty) this is the plan for the 2016-2017 school year. 


 
Ivy - 11th Grade 
Classical Conversations Challenge I program.  
Subjects include: 
Math
Drama (Shakespeare)
Music Theory
Latin
Government
Economics
Physical Science
American Literature

She is also taking a Field Biology class at a local university.  (It is a class specifically set up for homeschool, high school students.) She wants to take this because she is narrowing her career choices to library sciences or something forest ranger like.  She will also be continuing with her church youth group and American Heritage Girls.  

Liam:
He is also participating in Classical Conversations, but at the elementary level, Foundations.  He will also be continuing the All About Reading program and starting Math-U-See.  Liam will also be continuing with Trail Life and violin lessons. 

I want to keep this year super simple and staightforward. 

The Bible verse that I've chosen for this school year: Philippeans 4:8 

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
