Summer Daze - week 3 - Lilies

Nothing says "summer" like day lilies. These two are beauties.  They remind me of fireworks.  I read in the July edition of Better Homes and Gardens about a woman who has a plethora of varieties.  I hope someday to do that.

Summer Daze - week 2 - A Day at the Beach

Here is our second installment of Summer Daze.  Highlights from our impromptu Father's Day trip.  We went through a little rain on the way, but by the time we made it all the way over to Lake Michigan the weather was perfect.
